3/3/2022: Reflection-important start of project, relate to problem solving

There are so many things today!
This morning, I listened to tutor Chris's speech on research, not only the importance of research but also how. For example primary research by interviewing, secondary research by researching graphic designers' works, contextual research by reading books and so on. This lecture is the same important as my last assessment. In the assessment in part 2, Chris advised me to focus on research for more background information and knowledge for better works. For example, there is a huge socialist graphic design work about "eight hours of work, eight hours of rest and eight hours for myself". It looks simple, but it needs a lot of research, exploration and splicing.
After returning to the classroom, I talked with the teacher about my project. Chris helped me to sort out my main conceptual points and let me do deeper, more connected and more accurate work more clearly:
I think this helps a lot. Then I will do Isotype and semantic research later, for example research sociologist Otto Neurath.

Next step: research Semantic and Isotype, because that can not only help me simplify the complex cultures and relate to my favorite visual style, which is minimalism (Isotype is simple visual language).
