First week

In the first week of Co lab 2, I was put in team of 4 that mostly communicated through email and instagram, as it was the group’s preferable source of communication. It was interesting to communicate this way, as I never done it before with other projects.

I would say the downside of communicating this way, is that not everyone responds quickly and or at all, so it was a struggle to try and get other members of the group to participate. But we managed to get in touch, and some had some personal situations during the project, so we all were very understanding of each other. We didn’t want anyone feeling left out or feel like they didn’t do much, so we supported each other and made sure everything was ok.

For the first week, we were given a stimuli to start our project. The whole project really was just a space of experimentation and just doing things without thinking; seeing where the process goes. So in the first week, we were to give each other a gift. It could be anything that we found in our homes, and then we meant to be put these gifts together in the video. My gift was a video of a bowl of fruit.
