a room through time

in the 20th century my road and the land surrounding it was the metropolitan and city police orphanage (see photo a) this then changed though time to residential, school and a golf course. because of this change, it means that now when you look out of any back window you can see a wide stretch of green grass that is quite an unusual sight in London property this sold us to the area in the first place. When we first moved into our home in 2012. everything was upside down the kitchen and living room where on the first floor so that it could overlook the golf course. From becoming friends with the neighbours we also found out that it was two children living here as the parents had moved away to Switzerland. they also had an alarming storey as well. As the kitchen was on the second floor the fridge door exploded off with a very loud bang and flew through the window and on to the road below. after we had brought the property into the 21st century and changed the layout of the rooms this meant that the once kitchen turned in to the master bedroom with en-suite aka my parent's room leaving the top floor to me and my sister.
