Q: What is your understanding of the relationship between Shape and structure. I now understand that lots of very large structures are made from lots of smaller shapes which are joined together to make a shell. I think it's interesting how such complex looking architectural pieces are made up of lots of simple shapes.

Q: Which shape is the strongest? Which shape is the most visually interesting? The cube was quite strong, especially with our given material. The most interesting shape was the dodecahedron. The bamboo sticks were not all the same length so the shape did not stand on it's own. However it was interesting to see how the shape collapsed when we stopped supporting it.

Q: You were asked to work in a team – how did that make you feel? Working in a team was fun and was useful as everyone had a different role. It was important that we had at least one person supporting the structure at all times, which was my job for a lot of the project as I wasn't as fast at joining sticks.

Q: How did the decision making process evolve in your group? We all proposed ideas, however decisions were usually made if someone started working on that idea. Then we would all follow along.

Q: Did you agree? I think some of the decisions made were not something I would've done if I was working alone. However, I think It's nice that the structure reflects us as a group, rather than as individuals.

Q: What was successful about the Structure you produced? I think the structure was really interesting as it seemed to have layers. We also purposefully left areas open so someone could step inside and have your head in the centre of it. From this perspective it was very interesting as the materials surrounded you, but also there were gaps in which you could see the outside world.

Q: Was it stable? How did it respond to ideas you discussed in your group? It was quite stable as we suspended it from the ceiling in two different places. I think if it was on the ground it would not be as stable.

Q: What would you change about it? What would you add or Remove? Someone in our group added black tape towards the end, which I think did not fit with the other materials that made the structure look more organic. I would not use the material If I could change it.

Q: Which drawings could you develop into a design for a space and how would you do it? I think The design would be great if it was scaled up and more of an instillation piece. I would draw it in a large gallery space.
