Surface & Structure Brief

Design a functional product, anything from a stool to a spoon - it's up to you. All products are reliant upon human interaction, so whatever the products’ use, think carefully how the 'Structure' and 'Surface' relate to how the product is used / handled / sat on / thrown / looked upon / turned on or off / carried / pushed. Be intelligent with your materials and utilise them in a way that they enhance the usability of the product. Communicate the design process and project outcome in your A3 sketchbook. Present your design proposal as 3D models and 2D visualisations, communicating scale, form, materiality and context. Take photos to document your process and outcome in context.
