This is my final model, the curve is to reflect the curve of the washer, it is made out of metallic silver card. The scrunched up tissue paper is to create an atmospheric, enclosed feeling for the audience, similar to being inside the washer. It also could link to clothing. The composition is such that there are two curves inside a box, introducing movement as it creates a fluid motion round the box, which could represent the spinning action of a washing machine. In my original designs instead of tissue paper I was going to use wadding fabric, but I like the contrast between the angular lines of the crunched tissue paper with the smooth fluid curve of the metallic sheet.
