Charlotte Omnès + Beth Galton: FOOD TEXTURES
"In this beautiful food project, food stylist Charlotte Omnès and photographer Beth Galton explore various artists techniques and how they applied paint to their canvas by using food as their medium. Approaching these items as texture, shape and form rather than something edible, changes the perspective of the viewer. They are no longer a food item with appetite appeal but rather a graphic compositions created by using food."

To me, texture and colors are attractive qualities when it comes to art, jewellery, accessories, clothing, and furnishings. I really like that the foods used to create the paintings are displayed beside the art. It helps to communicate the story behind the pictures. Having these two photos of the same foods displayed in two different ways helped me connect them to eachother.
