I thought I was so bored of doing painting as I'd done so much over my 2 year BTEC course that I would use mixed media materials. I focused a lot on sculpture. In my work and experimental work I used a variety of materials from paint- of course, to charcoal, plaster, metal, wood, magazines and newspapers and found objects. I really enjoyed this week, more than the previous week as I felt I had more freedom and I had got used to the course more and was beginning to get really inspired, and also getting back into working in a school environment. I made some models out of plaster today, which I really enjoyed, I spoke to my tutor as well, he said he liked my ideas and he suggested an artist to me called Amanda Mulquiney who I will research about, her work looks minimalistic but cool at the same time.
