If something is tactile, it has a surface that is pleasant or attractive to touch

Brutalism can be seen as a reaction by a younger generation to the lightness, optimism, and frivolity of some 1930s and 1940s architecture. In one critical appraisal by Banham, Brutalism was posited not as a style but as the expression of an atmosphere among architects of moral seriousness.

- large scale steel sculptures, assemblages of metal using 'found' industrial objects
-the greatest British sculptor of his generation

I found this piece of art made by Anthony Caro back in 70's because of its steel construction and fluidity that twisted steel pieces represents. It suppose to suggest the movement of artist hand  .
It reminds me of ribbons and my textile structure that I have done earlier this week. . The large scale and the whole installation /with light and shadows/ creates harmony of 2 objects -wooden polished table and rough steel  construction.
I like that sculpture is see through and very dynamic

process/final outcome

While our photo session in Barbican , I have realised, that if I lower saturation on my pictures of samples, the connection between architecture and artwork is pretty obvious,,,but is it the right way of editing for my presentation? I better stick with colours to make my samples stand up from the rest and easy to remember.

-typically massive in character (even when not large), with a predominance of exposed CONCRETE construction, or in the case of the "brick brutalists," ruggedly combine detailed BRICKWORK and CONCRETE.
There is often an emphasis on graphically expressing in the external elevations and in the whole-site architectural plan the main functions and people-flows of the buildings

Acrylic see through furniture by Craftcombine studio reminds of my forst observation on Brutalist architecture- strong elements and contarst between materials ,but still  working together in perfect harmony somehow.
