Today we spent the day doing detailed peer assessments for one another. I found this to be an extremely useful and informative task due to the fact that It opened my mind to being more analytical and critical, thus making the grade objectives at the foreground of mind. I was then able take what I had learnt in marking Holly Meek's work and apply to my own self analysis. This was obviously aided by Holly's own evaluation of my work, which emphasised the importance for me to add more information to my sketchbook. Assessing Holly's Work also emphasised to me the importance of how one's work should be presented as well as emphasising the way my research informs my work. With this in mind I spent the rest of the day working on the presentation of my work and my sketchbook.
