- Go to the Welcome Collection “States of Mind: Tracing the edges of consciousness”

- Continue with in depth study of mental Health and asylums.

Use resources in the library i.e books and articles and visit galleries.

 

29th Feb – 4th March

 

Progress tutorials

- Continue with research of Mental health and asylums

- Begin initial concept designs

Use resources in the library i.e books and articles and visit galleries.

 

7th – 11th March

 

- Go to Bethlem Museum of the Mind “YOUTOPIA: Visions of the Past, Present and Future”

- Research Mind altering drugs it’s effect and dangers.

-Draw costume designs

Use resources in the library i.e books and articles, visit galleries and visit archway to do a workshop.

 

14th – 18th March

 

- Go to the National Theatre’s production of Wonder.land

-Research Materials and processes.

Go to Goldhawk road to research fabrics, visit archway to do a workshop and make notes of NT use of costumes.

 

21st – 24th March

 

- Go to The Victoria and Albert Museum “Curtain Up: Celebrating 40 Years of Theatre”

- Create pattern designs

- Select fabrics

Go to Goldhawk road to select fabrics and visit archway to do a workshop.

 

 

27th March – 9th April

 

- Begin to build costumes

Workshops closed

 

11th – 15th April

 

 

- Finish constructing costumes

- Test the designs.

Use resources in the library and at Archway.

 

 

18th –22nd April

 

 

- Film short film

- Edit Film

Use the film editing software in the library.

 

25th – 27th April

 

- Finish editing film

Wednesday April 27th

Deadline for Unit 7 submission 2pm

Use the film editing software in the library.
