I started the day with one set idea for my final piece but by the end of the day this had changed which I have found to be a common occurrence on this Art foundation course. I find this to be a great advantage to the quality of my work as I am encouraged to develop my initial ideas further. With the illuminate brief I decided to do a sort of lampshade that creates such shadows as to immerse the inhabitants of the room it is placed in. However, after talking to a tutor I realised I could take my initial idea further by creating a cube like shape that looks as if it has exploded instead of this same idea but with a sphere as this way I can incorporate the idea of spatial design whilst creating a product.
