Some similarities I drew between this piece and my own was they are both very neutral colours, can both be read at a different scale to what they are (could imagine massive).
What interested me in this video was that the piece is made by being "cast in concrete" (4) whereas I read it as an iceberg of some sort, the white making me think it was light, in contrast to a heavy concrete piece. I find it difficult to relate to her saying "Understand as a built thing even though its a natural thing" (4) because although I knew it was made by her, being built of concrete makes me feel it isn't a natural thing anymore. This phrase also made me start to think about the difference between what it means to build and what it means to make.
